The Importance of a Full-Body Workout

A full-body workout offers numerous advantages to people of all ages. Better core development results in improved joint function and better power. It improves recovery intervals while reducing the risk of over-training. You spend less time in the gym but get better energy expenditures. You also enjoy superior muscle development and symmetry while enjoying secondary cardiovascular benefits.

The best way to exercise is to try and visualize how a workout affects your entire body. For example, when you do a bicep curl, holding a dumbbell in your hand, if you were to look underneath your skin, you would see the bicep muscle shortening and lengthening. What about all the other muscles in your body, like your triceps, chest muscles and leg muscles? If you’re just doing a bicep curl then all these other parts are probably very quiet, because they are not doing anything. Some exercisers may over-exert just one part of their body while ignoring muscle development as a whole.

Wouldn’t it be great if you could find an easy full-body workout and exercise all the muscles in your body evenly? It would be even better if you didn’t have to devote a lot of time to aerobic-style exercise or jogging. This is the advantage of the Bodyblade.

The Bodyblade doesn’t just isolate one small group of muscles, but draws together the entire body as one team. All muscles contract as the Bodyblade is driven and provides resistance through inertia. The most you would have to concentrate on other muscles (like hard-to-reach muscles like quads or back muscles) is to simply lift the Bodyblade above your head, hold it behind you, shift the position of the blade or lunge forward with the same movements.

By using the Bodyblade, you can almost visualize all of your muscles working together in unison—your chest muscles contracting back and forth, your abdominal muscles on and off, along with your leg muscles, shoulder muscles and arms. All of these parts (remember, over 600 muscles in your body) integrate together, and you can feel the difference!
